Your privacy matters
DivorceSmart is built for people in one of the most sensitive moments of their lives. We take your privacy extremely seriously.
What we collect
When you use DivorceSmart, we collect only the financial information you enter into the calculator (assets, income, expenses, and settlement details). If you create an account, we also store your email address and name.
How we use your data
Your financial data is used solely to generate your settlement projections. We do not analyze, sell, or monetize your personal or financial information in any way.
Data security
All data is encrypted in transit using 256-bit SSL encryption and encrypted at rest. Your scenarios are stored securely and are accessible only by you.
No account required
You can use DivorceSmart without creating an account. Unregistered sessions are not stored permanently.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your financial scenarios and personal information are permanently removed from our systems.
Third parties
We will never sell your personal or financial data. We use the following essential services to operate DivorceSmart:
- Supabase — secure data storage and authentication
- Vercel — website hosting
- Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your full card number)
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the site (e.g. which pages are visited, general geographic region). Google Analytics does not have access to your financial data or scenario inputs.
No advertising trackers are used. We do not run ads and we do not share data with advertisers.
